The Green Girl - and other Suffolk Tales

You're never far from a story in Suffolk. Tales from the Saxon Shores: wandering, longing, love and doom in the Dark Ages

This show shines light into ‘Dark Age’ Britain, taking you on a meandering journey drawn from history, legend and poetry from the coming of the Saxons in the fifth century to the Norman Conquest in the eleventh century – a time when people were on the move and the sea was an open highway, a time when heroes and saints still walked the earth, times of war and sometimes times of love.
